Modern Demon Hunters 1

I've just finished some new modern Demon hunters, so in anticipation of those (photographs next week), I present some of my older figures in this category.

Modern Civilians

Most of my gaming is solo, and one of my pet gripes is the lack of subtlety in my wargames. What they generally come down to is two armies/groups running across the table at each other and fighting.

I think, therefore, that one of the reasons I gravitate towards skirmish level games is the opportunity to have more elements involved. These provide some randomness, without which I find my games can quickly get boring.

Finecast Saga

After reading about the various problems following Citadel's introduction of Finecast, I decided to wait several months before buying anything.

My opportunity came recently, when I decided my few metal Beastmen could do with a warband leader. I decided on Malagor the Dark Omen and handed over my cash.

Anyway, some new figures this week. I made the mistake of going down the "proper painting" route again, so these have taken a long time (a fact made worse by doing fancy bases, some of which worked better than others). One day I will learn...
