This is the second half of the Dwarf spear unit. Part one is here.
On non-figure news, I was at my niece's wedding on Saturday, which is why I missed Wappinshaw in Glasgow. In theory, I could have nipped in for a couple of hours first, but I would have been wandering around the show with a rucksack and a suit-in-a-bag, and it would not have been appreciated if I'd turned up smelling of wargames show (you know who you are - although it hasn't been as bad recently as it has been in years gone by)
Anyway, that said, congratulations to the bride and groom. The weather stayed dry, the church survived my passing through its doors, I just about survived the mother of all headaches (not alcohol related - being teetotal means I don't get that excuse - just a bad headache at a very inopportune moment) and a good time was had by all.
So, much as that's all very interesting, onto the Dwarfs - some of whom are older or the same age as my niece (and boy, does that sentence make me feel old!)
Starting off with Citadel again. I think the guy leaning on his halberd may have been from the old Dwarf King's Court set (1982, older than my niece).
Citadel and Grenadier
Followed by another sleepy Citadel Dwarf (stereotypes, huh) and the drummer of the unit (one of several such figures in the army, and one of the few duplicates)
Then another Grenadier and a Citadel figure with a very large halberd. Not strictly a spear, but I don't think I have enough halberds to make a unit, so the few I have are slotted in here.
and a final Citadel Dwarf to round out the unit
Finally, after many weeks of waiting patiently, the group shot
