Part 2 of my old school D&D adventurers. Part 1 is here
For some reason I seem to have painted up quite a few monks over the years. No idea why, as I never really cared for the character class.
Not quite sure what this figure is meant to be - possibly a fighter
The last of the original adventurers is a druid
All adventurers need pack animals at some point, both to carry food and supplies, and to help transport the loot home.
If they need somewhere to rest during their travels, the innkeeper and his wife will be happy to welcome them.
The wizard's cart didn't have any sides when I bought it, and it was only years later that I realised it should have had some. However, given how much space the baggage occupies, I'm not sure there would be enough room for them.
I updated my adventurer collection a few years ago with a few figures.
I like the priest figure, but I think he may be a bit too modern for fantasy. I have considered using him for some of my more modern settings, but for those he appears too old fashioned...
A thief and a wizard
A fighter and a ranger
I don't think this figure is Reaper, but I can't remember where I got it. I really like the model and wanted to do a good job on it. Unfortunately it was just as I was switching to acrylics and I hadn't really got to grips with how the paints handled. It is on my "figures to strip and repaint" list, although there's no hurry.
Everyone talks about scale creep over the years, and they're not wrong. 2000s on the left, 1980s on the right.
Finally, just because I have the figure (sorry about the chipped beak, but adventuring can be hazardous)
I think I'll leave it at that :-)
