Some 80s D&D adventurers this week, just in time for the WoTC announcement. It's almost like I plan these things...
I had intended to post this last week, but got distracted by something shiny. This fortunately means that it fits in really well with Wizards of the Coast's announcement that they're releasing all the old D&D stuff in pdf format.
Small confession here: despite having a longtime interest in RPGs (and more rule sets than is healthy) I've only ever played a handful of games and only remember playing D&D once (note, D&D, not even AD&D). I have a Traveller campaign in my head that's been there for a couple of decades, but I just seem to hit a mental block when it actually comes to sitting down and talking to myself for a couple of hours (the curse of solo play). Still, that doesn't stop me collecting and painting the figures :-)
I think these are all Citadel, 80s, most of them pre-slotta etc. etc.
Fighter
Some wizards - I seem to have a lot of wizards, not quite sure why
There are a couple of clerics
Thieves, although I think one of them was meant to be a pirate
And last, but not least, a paladin
More figures to follow next post, including pack animals and some newer additions to the adventuring group.
