Just some starport officials that I finished a couple of years ago, but which fit in with my current Science Fiction posts theme.
Apologies for the slight break in schedule, but it's been too hot here in the U.K. to have my computer on for long periods (not any problem for the computer, but it heats the room up too much). Anyways, enough excuses, to the figures...
These are some Heresy figures that I painted just as I was starting to use acrylic paints for whole figures. I didn't make a note of any of the colours I used, so when I came to paint the rest of the officials, there was some guesswork involved.
The bases on these figures were made from plasticard, cut with a circle cutter. It's a slow, paintful and not particularly satisfactory process, so I was more than happy to switch to the resin bases I'm now using.
This figure is from their smuggler range, although I didn't paint her up to represent any particular member of the crew.
This is an I-Kore figure. I liked the figure and the pose, but I never quite figured out what she was wearing. I think it's meant to be a jumpsuit, with the top half tied about her waist. It's not important in the great scheme of things, but I remember spending ages trying to figure out how to paint it. Anyway, she's not starport staff as such, more likely a smuggler just passing through.
Back to more normal staff type figures
All the starport officials (the smuggler has obviously got nervous and run away)
